Cristal Hui is the head of AIA Hong Kong and Macau for data and analytics. She has more than 20 years of experience leading data change in the banking and finance industry, embedding good data practices in business and technology, leading the creation of data platforms, and delivering business focused analytics.
Her passion and interest in data started with her degree in statistics. She found she enjoyed identifying facts and insights through data, and sharing these different dimensions with people creating business insights. This led to an increasing interest in how people at all levels use and interact with data, enabling her to successfully implement a data operating model to 18 countries to support digital transformation in her previous role as GBM chief data officer at HSBC.
